After the winter that may Western states experienced, homebuilders are getting more warranty calls on water intrusion issues with windows and doors. Figuring out how to resolve these problems, and prevent issues in the future calls for the use of an expert.

His consulting firm specialized in field-testing windows and doors for major builders, and determine if the methods and materials they use will prevent water instrusion in the most vulnerable part of the window envelope. TLS is also heavily involved in solving homeowner occupied leaks that homebuilders have difficulty resolving.
When TLS Labs develops a program to repair leaking windows and doors, they specify detailed installation methods and materials that should be used. More often than not, the company recommends flashing products and accessories from the Fortifiber Building Systems Group.
